All graphite pencil portraits are drawn on smooth, bright white Bristol Board. This allows me to produce very detailed drawings of your pet. Prices are for head and shoulder portraits on a plain white background. Please contact me for a quote if you would like a full-body portrait or a drawing with a background.
All portraits are double mounted using an acid-free, conservation grade mount with backing board and are supplied in an acid-free clear plastic bag to protect the drawing (included in the price).

Paper sizes
Sizes shown refer to the size of the paper. Various sizes of image can be drawn on A3 paper to suit your needs or the shape of the photo e.g. 12″ x 8″, 10″ x 8″, 8″ x 8″ etc. A margin will be left around the drawing to allow for mounting. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss an alternative size option.

Postage and packaging
Drawings that cannot be collected or delivered will be securely packaged and sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery service, which provides compensation for items lost or damaged in transit. Costs for postage & packaging is dependent on the size of the drawing and the destination (UK or overseas) and will be confirmed in discussions prior to a commission being agreed. As a guide though, an A4 drawing, securely packaged and sent via Special Delivery to a UK address, will cost £8.95 (as of April 2023).
Please note: if you are ordering from abroad and your country charges import taxes on original artworks, it is your responsibility to research how much these will be and to pay these charges if they occur. Import charges are NOT covered in any postage costs quoted to you. Please do not ask me to understate the value of the goods being shipped to avoid these charges as I will not do this.
Payment
Commissions will be secured on payment of a non-refundable c. 20% deposit and the drawing delivered / shipped on receipt of the balance once you are completely happy with your portrait. Payment is accepted in cash (if collected / delivered), BACS transfer or PayPal (details available on request).
