The photographs in this album are of a female Ruby-throated Hummingbird Archilochus colubris. The species is found in eastern North American and across the Canadian prairies. Ruby-throated Hummingbird feed on the nectar of red and orange tubular flowers and insects. They will also feed on sugar water provided at hummingbird feeders, as in some of these images. These images were taken in Delaware in the United States. Find out more about Ruby-throated Hummingbirds.
